Course Description
In this course you will learn everything that you need to know as an RMT about your patient’s motor vehicle claim. You will learn about the first steps for your patient after their motor vehicle accident; what forms need to be filled out and by whom; and the different whiplash associated disorder (WAD) classifications, including what these mean for your patient regarding treatment. You will also gain insight into what “in protocol” and “out of protocol” means, discharging clients, billing, the Alberta insurance cap, treatment protocols, and appropriate SOAP charting.
